WHY JOIN ADP?
Athletes train in the gym and on the field to raise their ceiling of potential. They don’t just chase a look — they train for performance, and a strong physique is a natural by-product.
Now it’s your turn. ADP brings a high-level training model, usually reserved for semi-professional and professional teams, to everyday athletes.
This is Townsville’s 4th Edition of the ADP and Combine Day, and the rivalries are hotter than ever. Team Pink, led by Hammer Athletic owner Matt Ham, has claimed the title two years running — much to the dismay of everyone else. The “anyone but Matt” motto is growing stronger each year, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
WHAT’S INVOLVED?
TEAM-BASED FORMAT
Participants will be drafted into teams by our coaches, NBA/AFL style, and take part in friendly but fierce competition. This year we’ve added a new team — Team Rainbow — captained by Coach Noah and Coach Ash. Let’s see if the new kids can take on the veterans.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Strength: Resistance programs that mirror in-season pro team training
Power: Plyometrics, hurdle work, jumping and landing drills
Conditioning: Repeated sprints, agility, multi-directional movements, plus team games
Expect to get stronger, faster, leaner and more powerful. The high metabolic demand and new movement patterns guarantee fat loss and big gains — with a side of muscle soreness.
THE COMBINE DAY
Saturday 13th September
The clinic builds toward our Combine Day, inspired by the NFL Draft. You’ll test every facet of your fitness: strength, power, endurance, body composition and agility.
Points are awarded per event — 3 for a win, 1 for second place, 0 for a loss. The team with the highest total takes home the trophy (and the bragging rights for the next 12 months).
CELEBRATIONS & PENALTIES
We’ll wrap up Combine Day with drinks at a local venue, where the champions’ victory tab is funded by the losing teams — and Hammer will match the kitty to cover more drinks.
Miss a session? That’s a fine. Show up late? That’s a fine. It’s all in good fun and goes straight into the party fund — not our pockets.
